Mobil SHC Energy Savings
Mobil has conducted extensive energy savings analysis in components using SHC technology versus traditional mineral oil products. Mobil’s data suggests that customers can realize a 5% energy savings by using SHC products. According to Edison, almost 25% of a manufacturer’s power costs are associated with electric motors. Castrol’s Safecoat DW 90
After conducting VOC anaylsis using ASTM E1868-10, TGA method, Castrol has determined that Safecoat DW 90 will meet the 2010 South Coast Air Quality Management District standard for rust preventatives. Customers currently using Safecoat DW 90 can be assured that it will meet the 50 grams/liter limit. Please look for updated documents soon.

Castrol Industrial North America, Inc.
The asset transfer will include product formulations, manufacturing and laboratory equipment, contracts and inventories. Effective Q2 2010, all products will be branded under the Hasco Forge name.
Hasco Oil intends to manufacture products in the Los Angeles area and use a combination of direct and distributor sales to promote the Hasco Forge line. Hasco believes the forge business will benefit from a rebounding global economy and the investments in the asset purchase meets its long-term objectives.

AQMD Rule 1144
